ABOUT MAK FASHION

In 2008, creator and Chief Executive Officer, Muhammad Anwar Khan, set out to revive the story of fashion and wholesale and sought to a targeted niche market of a largely higher socioeconomic clientele. What began as a small single start up is now, 13 years after the brand is still defined as a trailblazer for upcoming brands and has become one of the dominant players in the retail market. From having our own designs, embroidery sketches and sewing machines to starting this clothing brand it took a lot of hard work and passion and it really shows that with the help of Mr. Anwar’s dedication this venture will not be possible. By observing our perfect customers’ needs we are able to produce a brand with versatile embroidery designs and prints.

WHERE WE STARTED?

It all started with a big dream and lots of creative ideas that MAK clothing brand came into being. We wanted to revive women’s ready to wear garments and amalgamate it with niche, mix and match style of designs and prints with bright, pungent colors for summers and light, dim prints for winter arrivals. The increasing cost of procuring raw materials is one of the biggest challenges the fashion industry faces. The cost to not only grow, but also transform and treat the raw materials needed for making new fabrics and design lines has been on the rise since a long time now. For several years the fashion industry has been under fire for the problems it creates. Workers are exploited; factories are falling apart killing many people due to bad regulations, overproduction to avoid empty inventories, a massive carbon footprint, water pollution and much more.

WHERE ARE WE GOING?

MAK brand is comprised of some really talented people and they have worked together to satisfy their customers’ needs more efficiently and effectively.  And one thing is for certain, no matter what venture MAK moves onto next, it will be led and supported by its richest resource: its people. We trust and value our team, and in return, we reward and nurture them. MAK aims to open outlets of its store through the city, they wanted to reduce business heads, improve business productivity. They also wanted to be connected with the customers online and get their immediate feedback.
